Progress Lighting needed a modern eCommerce platform and a cohesive brand presence that could serve both everyday shoppers and B2B clients.
Progress Lighting required a digital foundation that could meet the needs of multiple audiences, from homeowners to contractors and agents. At the same time, they were undergoing a branding refresh, and I helped to facilitate the process of translating that new identity into digital. The challenge was to design a platform that felt modern and approachable, supported both consumer and B2B experiences, and provided the flexibility to grow with the business.





I designed a flexible, modular site that improved usability, strengthened brand identity, and supported both consumer and B2B experiences.
I approached the project by focusing on usability, brand storytelling, and flexibility. I carried the refreshed brand identity into the digital space through a unified visual language and consistent design system. To give the team independence, I designed a modular component library that made it easy to create new pages and maintain consistency. The site was built mobile-first, with clear navigation, intuitive product discovery, and an engaging shopping experience. I also supported tailored B2B experiences with account dashboards and features designed for contractors and agents. The result was a scalable Shopify site that showcases Progress Lighting’s updated brand, provides a seamless experience for both D2C and B2B customers, and gives the team a strong foundation for future growth.
