The existing setup made it difficult for the team to manage content and keep the site visually consistent without relying on technical support. At the same time, the customer experience needed to feel more seamless, intuitive, and aligned with DAVIDsTEA’s playful, approachable brand. The challenge was to design a digital foundation that supported both business growth and customer engagement through a flexible system that could adapt quickly to seasonal campaigns and new product launches.

I designed a modular Shopify Plus site with intuitive navigation, enhanced product pages, and a bilingual, customer-friendly experience.

My focus was on building a flexible design system that gave the DAVIDsTEA team independence while creating a smoother experience for customers. I designed a modular component library that could be reused across the site, streamlining updates and maintaining visual consistency. Navigation was restructured to make browsing intuitive and effortless, while product detail pages were redesigned to highlight detailed tea information, cross-sells, and storytelling elements that built trust and encouraged discovery. I also designed for a bilingual audience, ensuring seamless shopping in English and French with CAD and USD support. Together, these updates created a cohesive and scalable platform that made the site easier to manage, elevated the brand identity, and improved the overall shopping experience.
